Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver complex projects from concept through commissioning. You will manage NEC4 contracts, lead cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.

The role requires degree in engineering or related field, NEC4 accreditation, Chartered membership, and SC clearance. Hybrid working three days on site, with security clearance essential to operate in secure

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project delivery experience in construction, consultancy or infrastructure.
• Experience delivering electrical infrastructure from concept to completion.
• Strong NEC4 contracts, commercial management and change control knowledge.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical infrastructure projects through design, construction, delivery and commissioning.
• Lead project teams, contractors and stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and manage contractor performance.
• Monitor quality, cost, programme and delivery against targets.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and oversee project cost management.
• Support governance reviews, assurance processes and gateway approvals.
• Review schedules and delivery plans; manage risks and change events.
• Ensure compliance with organisational procedures and procurement standards.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in electrical project delivery, NEC4 contract management and stakeholder engagement, alongside the ability to operate effectively within a complex infrastructure environment. Your duties and responsibilities

• Manage electrical infrastructure projects through the design, construction, delivery and commissioning phases.
• Provide project management expertise to establish project objectives, delivery strategies and successful project outcomes.
• Lead project teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure collaborative and effective project delivery.
• Administer NEC4 contracts and maintain productive relationships with contractors and supply chain partners.
• Monitor contractor performance against quality, cost, programme and delivery requirements.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and change events.
• Manage project budgets, expenditure, forecasting and financial reporting activities.
• Support project assurance processes, governance reviews and gateway approvals.
• Review and challenge project schedules, milestones and delivery plans.
• Develop cash flow forecasts and oversee project cost management processes.
• Manage change control procedures and configuration management requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organisational procedures, governance standards and project delivery processes.

Qualifications & experience

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or a related discipline.
• NEC4 Project Manager Accreditation.
• Chartered membership of a relevant professional body.
• Active SC Clearance or the ability to obtain SC Clearance.
• Minimum five years' project delivery experience within a construction, consultancy or infrastructure environment, including management-level responsibility.
• Proven experience delivering electrical infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 contracts, commercial management and change control processes.
• Experience working within the built environment and major infrastructure projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

It’s great if you also have the following

• Experience delivering projects within highly regulated or live operational environments.
• Experience working on defence, nuclear, marine, industrial or other complex infrastructure programmes.
• Primavera P6 knowledge and understanding.
• Experience using CEMAR or similar contract management platforms.
• Nuclear Awareness training or equivalent.
• SMSTS qualification.
• Experience working within collaborative project delivery environments.

The setting for the role

Hybrid working with a minimum of three days per week on site within a secure, highly regulated operational environment in the Glasgow area, with the remaining time working remotely. Security Clearance is required for the position.
