Job summary

Pegasus Search & Selection is seeking an experienced Project Controls Risk Manager to join a leading UK construction consultancy. You will lead quantitative and qualitative risk analyses, guide risk identification workshops, and integrate risk insights into project planning and cost forecasting across large infrastructure programmes.

The role requires strong facilitation, analytical skills, and proficiency with risk tools.

Qualifications

• Proven risk management experience on large infrastructure or construction projects.
• Hands-on experience with QSRA and QCRA.
• Experience with Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, ARM, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of project controls: planning, cost management, and reporting.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of probabilistic modelling and integrated risk management for large programmes.
• Relevant certifications (APM Risk Certificate, RICS, PMI-RMP) desirable.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver comprehensive risk management services for major infrastructure and construction projects.
• Conduct Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA), including QSRA and QCRA, to assess potential impacts and advise on mitigations.
• Facilitate risk identification workshops and support risk registers development.
• Collaborate with project controls teams to integrate risk analysis into planning, cost forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and implement risk management frameworks and strategies tailored to client needs.
• Provide insightful risk reporting to support decision-making at all project levels.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry developments, methodologies, and tools and integrate them into work.
