Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to join our team in London or Birmingham. The role focuses on managing and delivering project and programme controls for clients, tracking actual and forecast costs to accurately report project status.

Ideal candidates will have PMO experience in infrastructure consulting, with strong cost control, scheduling and earned value capabilities. Occasional travel to coastal South East locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, budgeting, cost reporting, and earned value
• Proven ability to develop cost control plans and procedures
• Experience preparing project weekly and monthly reports for senior management

Responsibilities

• Develop cost control functions for Energy projects and programs.
• Establish and implement detailed project controls plans and procedures.
• Develop, maintain and manage project progress reporting, including financial and earned value reporting.
• Prepare project budgets and estimates.
• Coordinate and compile input from team members and reports.
• Establish and maintain baseline budgets and cost plans, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Implement and monitor change control for scope, budgets, contracts and schedule.
• Capture and monitor data for accurate plans, cost, schedule, and invoicing information.
• Develop cost and commitment schedules and earned value.
• Review invoices and progress payments for all parties.
• Communicate project control needs to management and project teams.
