Job summary

AECOM in the UK is recruiting a Project Controls Consultant to join our Integrated Programme Controls team, with offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Bristol.

You will develop and deliver cost control plans, manage budgets and earned value reporting, and coordinate inputs from project teams and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree and has extensive scheduling, costing and reporting experience, with advanced MS Office, Primavera P6 and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised and accredited university.
• Experience leading project controls on projects or programs.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting and cost reporting experience including earned value.
• Experience with cost control plans and procedures and communicating to teams.
• Ability to prepare weekly and monthly project reports and present results to management.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with advanced MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost control functions for Energy projects and programs.
• Establish and implement detailed project controls plans and procedures.
• Develop and maintain project progress reporting including earned value and cost reporting.
• Prepare project budgets and estimates.
• Coordinate inputs from team members and weekly reports.
• Maintain baseline budgets and cost plans and communicate status to teams and clients.
• Monitor change control including scope, budgets, contracts and schedule.
