Job summary

Turner & Townsend is expanding its Infrastructure team in the South West, seeking Project Managers and Senior Project Managers for Cardiff, Bristol and nearby areas. The role focuses on NEC PSC and ECC contract management, leading teams, and delivering high-quality outcomes for transport and utilities projects.

Candidates should have a background in infrastructure with strong stakeholder engagement, safety and environmental responsibility, and a track record of delivering complex programmes

Qualifications

• Experience in managing medium to large teams as part of a blended effort working alongside other organisations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable working with a diverse range of personalities across clients and partner organisations.
• Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders and manage cross functional projects.
• Ability to deliver projects within a technically complex environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety and environmental responsibility.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex problems and shape solutions for delivery.
• Ability to develop high quality output against stated business and technical objectives and meet tight deadlines safely.

Responsibilities

• Managing and administrating NEC PSC and/or ECC contracts;
• Leading and developing project teams or work streams within larger projects;
• Delivering high quality client outcomes and building trusted advisor relationships.
• Developing solutions and supporting tools and methods;
• Liaising with service line teams, account teams and specialists for efficient delivery.
• Communicating effectively with senior client staff;
• Managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on civil engineering projects;
• Ensuring lessons learnt are captured and applied.
