Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver high‑profile water sector projects nationwide, with regular travel and client site presence. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, and work within NEC contract frameworks to ensure safe, timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in infrastructure delivery, strong stakeholder skills, and a track record of successful programme execution in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Five years+ experience in infrastructure, engineering or construction with delivery of complex projects
• Experience in water infrastructure project lifecycle and governance
• Delivery of major programmes with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and client-facing delivery skills
• Familiarity with NEC contracts and risk management practices

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to deliver water and utilities projects on time and within budget
• Manage client relationships, governance and reporting to stakeholders
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and consultants
• Ensure safe delivery with quality standards and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to portfolio delivery and change management when required
