Job summary

1st Executive Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a major 10-year+ infrastructure investment programme in the North-West. You will work at the heart of procurement strategies, engaging with suppliers and driving commercial outcomes.

You will manage the full tender lifecycle, collaborate with project teams and contractors, and identify savings while maintaining governance and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience or exposure to construction, infrastructure or project-based environments in procurement, commercial or supply chain.
• Understanding of NEC, JCT or equivalent construction contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement of construction and infrastructure packages across the full tender lifecycle.
• Engage with project teams, suppliers and contractors to develop sourcing and contracting solutions.
• Review tender returns, pricing and commercial assumptions.
• Ensure procurement governance and documentation are maintained.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to align procurement with project programme.
