Job summary

Walker Sime Limited in Manchester is seeking a Planner to join our Infrastructure team on major UK infrastructure programmes. The role offers development, support and clear progression in a growing consultancy.

The Planner will develop and maintain programmes, monitor milestones, and produce planning outputs using Primavera P6 or MS Project, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement and exposure to high-profile projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in project planning within construction or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Infrastructure experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project programmes and schedules
• Monitor progress and performance against project milestones
• Support project teams with planning analysis and reporting
• Identify programme risks and opportunities
• Produce planning outputs using industry-standard tools
• Work closely with clients and project stakeholders
• Contribute to successful delivery across major infrastructure programmes
