Job summary

Farnborough Airport is seeking an experienced Network and Infrastructure Manager to lead the strategic direction, performance, resilience and continual improvement of our technology infrastructure services. Reporting to the Head of IT and Cyber Security, you will ensure services are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with business needs across airport, hospitality and corporate environments.

Qualifications

• Evidence of right to work in the UK.
• Full 5-year employment/education history.
• Ability to obtain CRC and CTC certificates to required security clearance level.
• Hold a valid UK driving license.
• Proven experience managing enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
• Experience leading third-party technology suppliers and MSPs.
• Strong knowledge of networking, infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure lifecycle management and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of cyber security and infrastructure protection practices.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the Group's infrastructure and connectivity services.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and service partners.
• Act as senior technical authority for infrastructure-related matters.
• Monitor service delivery against performance measures.
• Drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Approve and govern major infrastructure changes.
• Lead regular service reviews and performance discussions.
• Support technology resilience and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain the infrastructure strategy and roadmap.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and service improvement.
• Lead infrastructure modernisation and transformation initiatives.
• Ensure infrastructure services support business growth and future projects.
• Provide governance over network, hosting, compute and storage environments.
• Oversee capacity, performance and availability management.
