Job summary

Vanrath is seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Modern Workplace Engineer to join its IT Operations function in Craigavon. You will act as a senior escalation point, drive service improvements, and help design and implement technology solutions across the business.

This permanent, full-time role offers enterprise-scale exposure, opportunities to lead projects, and hands-on operational support across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory, and Exchange Online.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure, architecture or technical delivery roles within medium to large organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and workplace platform operations.
• Solid experience with Active Directory, Hybrid Identity and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and broader collaboration tech.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of enterprise workplace technologies, ensuring security, resilience and fit-for-purpose operation.
• Serve as senior escalation point for incidents and problems, driving root-cause analysis and service improvements.
• Design, implement and maintain solutions across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory and Exchange Online.
• Lead proactive maintenance, upgrades and patching while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
• Support infrastructure projects and collaborate with internal teams and third-party suppliers to deliver effective solutions.

The Role

An established, large-scale organisation is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join its IT Operations function.

Working within the Infrastructure Services team, you will act as a senior technical escalation point, taking ownership of complex incidents, driving service improvements and contributing to the design and implementation of technology solutions across the business.

• Strong technical expertise across Active Directory, Hybrid Identity and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and wider collaboration technologies.
