Job summary

Essity is seeking a Site Infrastructure Manager at the Skelmersdale Converting Mill. You will lead the strategy, maintenance and development of site infrastructure, ensuring assets support performance, continuity and sustainable growth.

You will manage CAPEX projects, oversee utilities, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while driving continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience managing infrastructure, utilities, facilities or engineering services in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Strong project and budget management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver long-term infrastructure and asset management plans.
• Lead and develop the Site Infrastructure team with a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage CAPEX projects from concept through implementation with governance and budget control.
• Oversee site utilities (electricity, gas, water, compressed air) for reliability and compliance.
• Maintain high/low voltage electrical systems and relevant statutory requirements.
• Ensure buildings, facilities and infrastructure meet legal, safety, environmental and operational standards.
• Drive compliance with the RESH framework and business continuity plans.
• Manage infrastructure budgets and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support site priorities.

As our **Site Infrastructure Manager**, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the buildings, utilities, electrical systems and facilities that support our operation remain safe, compliant and fit for the future. **About the Role** Reporting to the **Operations Manager**, you'll lead the strategy, maintenance and development of site infrastructure, ensuring our assets support operational performance, business continuity and sustainable growth. This is a highly visible leadership role that combines technical expertise, people leadership and project delivery. Working closely with Engineering, Operations and external partners, you'll ensure our infrastructure remains reliable, efficient and aligned to Essity's long-term ambitions.
