Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent, where you'll be empowered to innovate and drive solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team doing complex work to help build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will carry out planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies (6am-6pm) and Lates (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Utilize field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Liaise with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This is an entry-level role suitable for hands-on individuals who can multi-task and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
