Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between Earlies 6am-6pm and Lates 12pm-12am.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attending maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
  • Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy learning and multitasking. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Willingness to work 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating Earlies and Lates
