Job summary

Smart 4 EPC is seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare, manage and supervise accurate estimates for major infrastructure projects, supporting business objectives and subcontractor relationships.

You will review tender documents, develop cost risk analyses, and liaise with the supply chain to compile inquiries and quotes. Experience with NEC contracts is advantageous and timely tender submissions are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an estimator for large scale projects, especially roads, tunnels and motorways including structures.
• Prepare tender settlement meeting review reports and supporting information
• Proficient in Candy - estimation software
• Extensive experience liaising with the supply chain
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Team player
• Responsive to meet tender submission deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage and supervise cost estimates for major infrastructure projects.
• Review tender documents and drawings to inform estimates.
• Develop cost risk analyses and work breakdown structures.
• Identify risks and opportunities; maintain supplier enquiries and quotes.
• Ensure timely delivery of submission documents and tender packs.
• Promote core process compliance throughout tender periods.
