Mississauga, Ontario, Canada-based Estimating Manager - Infrastructure is a leadership role within a Tier 1 employee-owned contractor. The position focuses on guiding major pursuits across Ontario, driving bid strategy and delivering high-value infrastructure estimates.

Reporting into pre-construction leadership, you will mentor estimating teams, oversee complex tenders and champion best practices to shape successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years combined field and estimating experience.
• Minimum 5 years in estimating leadership or senior roles.
• Infrastructure or major project estimating experience.
• Strong commercial and technical understanding of procurement methods.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Collaborates across operations and project stakeholders.
• Experience with conceptual estimating, benchmarking and market testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor estimating teams across major pursuits.
• Drive conceptual estimating, budgeting and bid strategy.
• Review scopes, technical specifications and cost completeness.
• Identify constructability solutions and cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead bid closings and oversee complex tender submissions.
• Conduct benchmarking, market testing and analytics-driven estimating.
• Support workforce and succession planning within the estimating function.
• Collaborate closely with operations, subcontractors and business development teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
