Job summary

Advance TRS in Leeds seeks an experienced Environmental Delivery Lead/Manager to drive environmental outcomes across infrastructure projects from design through construction. You will translate environmental requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.

You will work with engineers, designers and delivery teams to identify risks, influence design decisions and integrate effective mitigation into project delivery. Hybrid, permanent, full-time role with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure, engineering, environmental consultancy or related discipline.
• Ability to translate environmental requirements into practical solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrate environmental requirements into infrastructure design and construction.
• Identify environmental risks, constraints and opportunities across the project lifecycle.
• Advise engineers, designers and project teams on practical environmental solutions.
• Influence design decisions to incorporate effective mitigation from the outset.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary environmental input and align technical recommendations.
• Balance environmental priorities with cost, programme and buildability considerations.
• Translate technical information into clear, actionable advice.
• Engage with stakeholders and challenge proposals constructively where necessary.
• Support environmental assessments, management approaches and regulatory compliance.
• Help ensure environmental commitments are implemented effectively on site.
