Job summary

Searchability NS&D in Cheltenham is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support mission-critical, secure environments in the National Security space. You will provide proactive management and reactive support, implementing automation to reduce human error and evolve platform operations.

The role requires active Enhanced DV Clearance, on-site work, and a track record in VMware, Windows Server, Linux, and ITIL4 practices.

Qualifications

• Must already hold active Enhanced DV Clearance.
• Cheltenham/Gloucester location - full time on site.

Responsibilities

• Providing operational support, including incident resolution, change implementation, and maintenance for stable environments.
• Implementing approved technical requests and automation to improve productivity.
• Developing and implementing improvements to operational and reference platform environments.
• Producing clear and concise technical documentation and supporting the Tech Lead with risk management.
• Proactive monitoring and stakeholder management, including service reporting and reviews.
• Embracing ITIL4 practices for agile platform operation delivery and operations.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, best practices, and internal standards.
