The Role

The infrastructure engineer will be responsible for the design, build, deployment, and maintenance of the Network and Security infrastructure for Soho House and its associated fascia’s (Soho Restaurants, Soho Works, Retail, The Ned, Scorpios, The Line, The Saguaro, and Soho House & Co overall). This role will be approximately 70% project-focused and 30% business-as-usual/support-focused.

The role will be based at the London Support Office and remotely, reporting directly to the Group Head of Infrastructure. The engineer will work to maintain a high security and infrastructure posture across all Soho House & Co entities, properties, and systems.

Main Duties
  • Ensure successful delivery of network infrastructure projects, on time and within budget, coordinating with all Network Infrastructure Engineers and Contractors.
  • Document and communicate project progress to stakeholders clearly.
  • Assist with creating network bill of materials and scope for new openings and refurbishments.
  • Configure and maintain networks (Netskope, Palo Alto, Aruba EdgeConnect, HPE/Aruba Central, Aruba ClearPass, Ruckus, Cisco).
  • Carry out network projects/upgrades and new openings globally, both on-site and remotely.
  • Document existing and new network infrastructure.
  • Support handover of new infrastructure to in-house teams and third-party providers.
  • Implement and manage network security projects without disrupting business operations.
  • Research, test, procure, and implement new technologies to meet business needs.
  • Manage change requests and support tickets related to infrastructure/security.
  • Conduct due diligence on third-party work to ensure compliance with security and resilience standards.
  • Remediate vulnerabilities across all networks and systems, coordinating with third parties as needed.
  • Perform regular on-site reviews of network infrastructure.
What We Are Looking For
  • Highly technical expertise in Layer 3/Layer 7/SASE networking.
  • Experience with vendor-specific skills such as Netskope, Palo Alto, Aruba, HPE/Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, Microsoft Windows Server, and Azure Networking.
  • Preferred experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2012-2022), SQL, IIS, Active Directory, PowerShell, and Hypervisors like VMWare and Scale Computing.
  • Additional technical skills include security design, large-scale MPLS/VPLS/SD-WAN networks, data centers, cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), SSO/SCIM/OATH/SAML, and change management processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally and work under pressure.
