Job summary

Access Computer Consulting is seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure in a primarily remote role with quarterly travel to South Wales.

The role requires strong Linux, AWS, Terraform, Docker and scripting skills (Bash/Python) plus security hardening and vulnerability management to improve platform resilience. You will automate provisioning and configuration and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying Linux-based infrastructure and platforms.
• Hands-on with Terraform for provisioning.
• Proficient in AWS and containerization with Docker.
• Scripting in Bash and/or Python.
• Strong focus on infrastructure security and hardening.
• Experience with vulnerability management and patching.
• Automation and configuration management experience.

Infrastructure / Platform Engineer - AWS / Linux / Terraform

550- 600/day Inside IR35 Remote

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure / Platform Engineer to work on secure and resilient infrastructure within a Central Government environment.

Strong experience required across:

• Linux
• Terraform
• AWS
• Docker
• Bash / Python
• Infrastructure security and hardening
• Vulnerability management
• Automation and configuration management

You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining secure infrastructure, automating provisioning and configuration, and improving platform security and resilience.

Recent Central Government experience is required.

The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to South Wales, typically once per quarter.

550 per day, Inside IR35 via umbrella.
