Job summary

Leidos UK is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to support a critical LAN/WAN environment. You will work with colleagues and customers in an ITIL/Agile setting to deliver robust infrastructure services across Windows Server, RedHat Linux, VMware, and Hyper Converged environments.

You will manage Active Directory on-site, handle storage technologies, and participate in app packaging and deployment for bespoke/legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows Server infrastructure at an enterprise level.
• Experience with RedHat Linux OS and general Linux support.
• Experience with VMware-based virtualised estates.
• Experience deploying and supporting Hyper Converged Infrastructure.
• Storage management experience including NetApp and Dell.
• Active Directory management in on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrable experience of Windows Server based infrastructure at an enterprise level.
• Demonstrable experience of RedHat Linux OS based infrastructure as well as general Linux support skills
• Experienced in the management and maintenance of VMWare based virtualised estates
• Deployment and support experience of Hyper Converged Infrastructure
• Management and troubleshooting of storage technologies including NetApp & Dell
• Management and troubleshooting of Active Directory within an on premise environment
• Development of a customer desktop build with a number of bespoke/legacy applications
• Packaging and deployment of applications
