Job summary

Salt is seeking a DV-cleared Infrastructure Engineer for a fulltime, on-site role in Manchester. You will design, implement and support secure IT infrastructure spanning virtualization, networking, storage, and automation.

You will collaborate with technical teams to deliver resilient solutions and provide leadership on complex issues affecting critical systems. The role requires current DV clearance and experience with VMware,containers, scripting and IaC.

Fulltime on site role in Manchester

MUST BE DV CLEARED CURRENTLY

Up to £100,000 basic salary

A global company are looking for a DV Cleared Infrastructure Engineer fulltime in London on a permanent (37.5hr) basis.

You'll be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting secure IT infrastructure, working across virtualisation, networking, storage, automation and platform technologies. You'll collaborate with technical teams to deliver resilient infrastructure solutions, provide technical leadership on complex issues, and support the ongoing health and optimisation of critical systems.

Essential Skills

• VMware technologies (ESXi, vCenter, VMware Cloud Foundation)


• Windows, Linux and/or macOS server administration


• Containers and Kubernetes


• NSX (Virtualisation & Networking)


• Networking and storage technologies


• Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python or Java)
