Job summary

Roc Search is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a permanent role in Stevenage. You will manage servers with a focus on MS Windows, Linux, virtualization, and storage, including build, configuration, patching, and maintenance.

You will also document and automate processes, maintain builds, and support deployment applications, while demonstrating strong troubleshooting and customer-focused skills. The role requires high-level UK Government Security clearance and is onsite five days a week

Qualifications

• Must hold high-level UK Government Security clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance.
• Willingness to undergo SC and DV clearance.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers in enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation skills.

Job description

My fantastic client in Stevenage is currently looking for a solid Infrastructure Engineer to come on board on a permanent basis.

In this role, you'll be responsible for managing Servers, including build, configuration, patching, and maintenance, with a focus on MS Windows, Linux, Virtualization and Storage.

You will also work on documenting and automating processes, maintaining builds, and supporting the deployment applications. Strong attention to detail, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to handle customer requests efficiently are essential.

Candidates must hold high-level UK Government Security clearance or be eligible to obtain clearance due to the nature of the role. Willingness to undergo SC and DV clearance.
