Salary: Up to £45K DOE

The Opportunity:

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will join a leading civil and structural engineering firm in Leeds. You will play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects from concept to construction, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Working in partnership with large well-known companies, the company is known for consistently delivering exceptional civil and structural engineering services. Due to expansion, they are seeking an Infrastructure Technician to grow with the business. If you aim to expand within infrastructure and reach your full potential, gaining chartered status, this position is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare plans and technical drawings for all project stages, including concept design, detailed design, and construction.
• Produce design drawings to support technical approvals and guide construction, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Undertake infrastructure design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, focusing on accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams, contributing technical expertise throughout project delivery.

What are we looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience within civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
• Ability to manage and contribute to projects from initial concept to completion in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Solid technical knowledge with a proactive problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of liaising effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and WinDes (MicroDrainage), with practical drainage system design experience. Knowledge of flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and Section 104 agreements is essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, especially in earthworks modeling and highway design, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Section 38 and 278 agreements is a plus.
