Job summary

Fyre Global Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist in Hull to provide 2nd/3rd line support across Microsoft Server, Active Directory, SQL, and the M365 E5 stack. You will work hands-on with Azure, VMware, and SAN storage, while supporting core networking and security practices.

The role offers ownership and visibility into shaping our Microsoft and Azure environment, with input into infrastructure evolution and cloud development in a UK-based operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in 2nd/3rd line infrastructure support.
• Experience with Microsoft Server environments and Azure/M365 E5.
• Experience managing VMware vSphere and SAN storage.
• Ability to communicate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical people.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to lead by example.
• Able to quickly pick up new technologies and contribute hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Own 2nd/3rd line support across core Microsoft Server, AD, SQL and M365 E5 stack.
• Hands-on work with Azure for operations, administration and cloud development.
• Manage VMware and SAN estate including ESXi, vCentre and hardware.
• Support core networking across LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching and WiFi.
• Work within a zero-trust security model and follow cyber best practices.
• Create documentation and training materials to help the business.
• Help improve and evolve the Azure cloud estate.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Server and Azure/M365 E5
