Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Design Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in Guildford. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in the design, development, and implementation of complex infrastructure projects, working within a supportive, collaborative environment that places a strong emphasis on career progression and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex infrastructure projects, ensuring technical excellence and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of all infrastructure components.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and within‑budget delivery of projects.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge‑sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Ensure all projects meet high‑quality standards, from initial design through to project completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure design and engineering, with a strong track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Proficiency in key design software such as AutoCAD, Civil3D, and MicroDrainage.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of projects and drive them forward.
Desirable Skills
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Experience in managing client relationships and delivering presentations would be a plus.
