Job description

Infrastructure Engineer | £40,000 - £45,000 | St Ives, Cambs | Site-to-site travel required | 12 Months FTC

Working for a leading MSP, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations by meeting clients' infrastructure requirements accurately and efficiently. In this role, you will design solutions, deliver projects, and fulfill service requests, leveraging your deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a knowledgeable infrastructure team member, providing expert guidance and support.
• Understand and document client systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Assess and document new client systems and infrastructures as part of the onboarding team.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical incidents, collaborating with the team as needed.
• Lead technical installations and project implementations at client sites.

Key Skills:

• 3+ years of infrastructure engineering/specialist experience.
• Proficiency in Exchange & SharePoint migrations (cross-tenant, legacy to M365), Azure AD (Entra ID) management (identities, authentication, MFA, SSO, Conditional Access), Windows Server & Hybrid Infrastructure Management.
• Knowledge of Networking principles (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, WLAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi) and Firewall technologies (Checkpoint, Meraki, Sophos, Watchguard, Fortinet).
• Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Citrix).
• Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
