Job summary

Ncounter Limited is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Developer who blends software engineering with large-scale infrastructure. You will implement production-grade Python services, API layers, and automation to reduce manual toil.

Work spans CMDB-driven provisioning, integration across compute, networking, storage and cloud, plus event-driven workflows with a cloud-native mindset.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial Python software development experience.
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic and PostgreSQL exposure.
• Excellent REST API design and systems integration knowledge.
• Experience modelling complex infrastructure or configuration data.
• Knowledge across at least two areas of networking, storage, bare metal, virtualisation or cloud.
• Kubernetes or cloud-native engineering experience.
• Background building automation for large, complex technology environments.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade services and automation primarily in Python.
• Design REST APIs and integration layers across infrastructure platforms.
• Develop CMDB services, schemas and infrastructure data models.
• Create event-driven automation workflows and self-service capabilities.
• Integrate vendor and internal APIs across compute, networking, storage and cloud.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, platform, security and application teams.
