Ncounter is supporting a global technology-driven investment firm in hiring a Technology Integration Specialist to join a highly collaborative team that bridges development, infrastructure, and support. This function ensures trading systems and data services work seamlessly across the front-to-back lifecycle, making it a key link between engineering and operations.

You’ll take ownership of delivering end-to-end technical change – covering integration, migration, and decommissioning projects. Working across multiple environments, you’ll analyse existing systems, troubleshoot issues within Linux-based infrastructures, and automate recurring tasks in Python or Bash. The role requires both strong hands‑on technical capability and structured delivery skills, ensuring solutions are implemented cleanly, documented clearly, and communicated effectively to business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver integration, migration, and decommissioning projects across trading systems
• Liaise with developers, infrastructure, and support teams to define project scope and success metrics
• Perform detailed Linux troubleshooting, log analysis, and process monitoring to identify root causes
• Script automation for data handling and analysis in Python or Bash
• Maintain project governance, tracking, and documentation via Confluence and Jira

What You’ll Bring

• 5–12 years’ experience in technical delivery, integration, or production support within financial services
• Solid Linux knowledge with the ability to identify active processes and service dependencies
• Hands‑on scripting experience (Python or Bash)
• Proven track record in managing technical delivery and cross‑functional collaboration
• Understanding of front‑to‑back trade flow and system architecture
• Exposure to microservices, kdb+/q, or data‑intensive systems is an advantage
• Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and structured project tracking
