Job summary

Calibre Search is seeking a Design Engineer to work on highways and drainage projects from planning through construction in Leeds. The role offers a collaborative office culture with hybrid working and a minimum of three days in the office each week, focusing on robust infrastructure solutions.

You will design highways and drainage schemes, prepare Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies, liaise with authorities, and progress towards IEng or CEng.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in civil infrastructure design.
• Experience in highways and drainage design for developments.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments / Drainage Strategies.
• Liaising with clients, authorities and undertakers.
• Progress towards IEng or CEng is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design highways and drainage schemes across residential, commercial or mixed-use projects.
• Prepare technical reports including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
• Liaise with local authorities and statutory undertakers throughout delivery.
• Support projects through all stages and mentor junior engineers.
