Job summary

GIC, one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds, is seeking an Associate for its Infrastructure Group. You will help invest into infrastructure credit transactions globally, focusing on junior and mezzanine spaces.

The role demands strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in infrastructure finance or advisory, and a solid handle on complex loan structures and debt capital markets. You will collaborate with banks, managers and GPs, and support deal execution and asset

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, numerical and financial modelling abilities.
• Experience in infrastructure finance or advisory roles.
• Background in leveraged/structured finance or HY markets welcomed.
• Experience in committing debt capital as a principal.
• Familiarity with complex loan structures.
• Experience across European debt markets; US/emerging markets exposure is a plus.
• Team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting, modelling and execution of infrastructure credit transactions.
• Preparing deal memos for senior staff/Credit committee.
• Deal screening, structuring and pricing, due diligence, closings.
• Interact with banks/advisors, management, equity and credit GPs.
• Managing fund commitments and co-investments.
• Asset management of infra credit investments.
