Morson Edge in the United Kingdom is seeking an Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join the Cloud Services team on a hybrid basis in Leatherhead, Surrey. The role focuses on Azure, M365, and security tooling, with about 70% project work and 30% reactive support.

The contract is Inside IR35 with a day rate up to £540 for 6 months and is likely to extend. Start date is ASAP, offering collaboration across enterprise-scale IT environments and strong supplier engagement.

Formación

• Extensive experience in large enterprise environments.

Infrastructure Cloud Engineer

Location: Hybrid - Leatherhead, Surrey (2-3 days onsite)

Our Client requires an experienced Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to join their existing join the Cloud Services team. This is an Infrastructure Engineering role working in a large Enterprise environment with circa 5500 users and an extensive Cloud footprint. This role is primary project based with around 70% of your time being dedicated to project work and 30% being dedicated to reactive support.

Azure, Cloud, 3rd line Support, Microsoft 365

Technical Skills:

• Have existing knowledge of the following technologies:
  • Azure
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Defender (for Cloud, O365, Identity & Email)
  • Intune Device Management
  • Exchange/SMTP/365 messaging support & administration
  • Zero trust technologies such as Zscaler
  • Windows 11 and Windows server
• Investigate and resolve 3rd line support issues, working closely with suppliers when required.
• Maintain and support the IT Infrastructure in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Support change delivery utilising an ITIL service management framework
• Have demonstratable experience in larger scale environments (1000+ users).
• Knowledge of IT Security and compliance policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of automation is beneficial using tools such as Copilot and PowerShell.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Lead role in managing suppliers and ensuring that we get the best value and performance with them.
