Job summary

Madison Hunt, in partnership with a leading infrastructure investment manager, is seeking an Asset Management professional for its London team. The role focuses on active portfolio management, operational improvement and long-term value creation across infrastructure investments.

You will partner with investment colleagues and portfolio company management to drive performance, conduct financial modelling and valuation, monitor KPIs, and support strategic and commercial decisions to maximise

Qualifications

• Experience in infrastructure or energy asset management, valuations, transaction advisory, corporate finance or a related investment role.
• Strong financial modelling capabilities, including DCF valuation and the ability to understand and challenge the assumptions underpinning asset performance.
• An appreciation of the operational and commercial drivers of infrastructure businesses, with the ability to translate these into financial outcomes.
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and portfolio company management teams.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset, with the intellectual curiosity to understand businesses in depth and identify opportunities for value creation.
• Fluency in at least one other European language alongside English.

Responsibilities

• Active Value Creation: Work with portfolio company management to identify and implement initiatives that enhance performance and drive growth.
• Financial Modelling & Valuation: Develop and maintain detailed financial models and DCF valuations for portfolio decisions.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyse KPIs, challenge plans and forecasts to improve asset-level performance.
• Strategic & Commercial Analysis: Evaluate business plans, capex, refinancing opportunities and translate outcomes.
• Portfolio Company Engagement: Build relationships with management teams and provide analytical support.
• Investment & Transaction Support: Assist bolt-on acquisitions and new investments through analysis and valuation.
