Job summary

LA International Computer Consultants Ltd is seeking an Infrastructure Architect with active DV clearance to design and implement enterprise VMware IaaS and cloud networking. You will lead NSX-T deployments, VCF configurations, and automated operations, while ensuring secure-by-design practices.

Responsibilities include integrating Aria Operations with VCF, designing DR with VCD-A, automating with vRO, and producing detailed designs and SOPs for cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise VMware infrastructure and IaaS solutions.
• Strong hands‑on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Extensive NSX‑T experience, including software‑defined networking and security.
• In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere architecture and virtualisation technologies.
• Strong experience with VMware Cloud Director (VCD), including virtual data centres and networking.
• Experience integrating VMware Aria Operations with VCF environments.
• Knowledge of VMware Cloud Director Availability (VCD-A), disaster recovery and workload mobility.
• Experience with VMware vRealize Orchestrator (vRO) and infrastructure automation.
• Experience designing secure, air-gapped infrastructure and offline patching solutions.
• Strong Scripting experience using PowerShell or Python.
• Understanding of Omnissa Horizon VDI environments and troubleshooting.
• Strong infrastructure architecture, technical documentation and solution design skills.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• VMware certifications such as VCP or VCAP would be highly advantageous.
