Job summary

Jersey Electricity PLC is seeking an Infrastructure and Digital Mapping Technician to ensure the accuracy and accessibility of infrastructure and asset data. You will support digital records, governance, and mapping standards using ArcGIS, Esri tools, CAD systems and related technologies.

The role contributes to digital modernisation including Digital Twin development, system integration, automation and process improvement, with a permanent full-time contract in Jersey.

The Infrastructure and Digital Mapping Technician is responsible for ensuring Jersey Electricity infrastructure, asset, and spatial information is accurate, accessible, and of high quality. The role supports the management of digital records, data governance, mapping standards and business processes through the use of ArcGIS, Esri tools, Utility Network, CAD systems and related tech. The postholder will play a significant role in driving projects passionate about advancing digital modernisation, including Digital Twin development, system integration, automation and process improvement.

Must have:

• Experience working with GIS, mapping, asset information or technical record systems.
• Solid attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Experience working within a utility or regulated infrastructure environment
