Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking an experienced Infrastructure, Projects and Assets Manager to lead a broad remit across Neighbourhood Services. You will drive infrastructure capital projects, asset development, and operational compliance for parks, allotments and assets including the Depot and Waste Transfer Station.

Reporting to the Assistant Director Neighbourhood Services, you will manage staff, budgets and safety standards while improving service performance and contributing to plans

Qualifications

Full driving licence required.
WAMITAB Level 4 Certificate in Managing Transfer of Hazardous Waste or working towards.
Chartered Management Institute membership or working towards.
Leadership, management, coaching or mentoring qualification or equivalent significant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead management of infrastructure capital projects, asset development and operational compliance across Neighbourhood Services.
Oversee budgets, resources and health and safety standards; use performance data to drive improvement.
Coordinate service plans, policies and wider strategies; manage staff and deliver on assets like parks, allotments, depot and waste transfer station.
