Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking an experienced Infrastructure, Projects and Assets Manager to lead a broad remit across Neighbourhood Services, coordinating infrastructure capital projects, asset development and operational compliance for parks, allotments and other assets.

You will manage staff, budgets and safety compliance, work with senior teams to drive service improvements and deliver projects on time while maintaining high governance and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of project management, asset management, health and safety legislation and risk assessment.
• Experience in managing resources and service performance.
• Essential: full driving licence and relevant management qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure capital projects and asset development across Parks, Allotments, Depot and Waste Transfer Station.
• Oversee compliance, health and safety standards and risk management.
• Manage staff, budgets and resources; drive performance improvements via data.
• Support service plans, policies and wider strategies and engage with stakeholders.
