Job summary

A UK-based EdTech start-up is seeking an InfoSec Manager & Compliance to strengthen its security posture. The role involves implementing compliance strategies, managing incidents, and ensuring adherence to standards like ISO 20071. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in regulated environments, particularly in EdTech or FinTech, and familiarity with security tools such as MDM and Intune. This position is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in the Shoreditch office.

Qualifications

• Experience in regulated environments; ideally EdTech or FinTech.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 20071 and Cyber Essentials Plus, data protection laws.
• Hands-on experience with MDM, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Sentinel.

Responsibilities

• Implement and develop security and compliance strategies.
• Manage incidents and policy life-cycles.
• Lead projects such as SIEM deployment and IAM initiative.
• Establish standards for compliance, risk, auditing, and data protection.
• Translate applicable standards into practical controls.

Skills

Experience in regulated environments

Strong knowledge of ISO 20071

Knowledge of Cyber Essentials Plus

Hands-on experience with MDM

Experience with Intune

Experience with Microsoft Defender

Experience with Sentinel
