Job description
Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor IT support requests through the Help Desk system, ensuring swift and efficient resolution.
  • Create and maintain IT Helpdesk documentation, contributing to process clarity and improvement.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for IT queries.
  • Develop prioritization skills by assessing service requests and incidents based on urgency and impact.
  • Gain hands‑on experience with desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
  • Work with hardware and networking, installing, supporting, and relocating devices.
  • Enhance troubleshooting expertise by resolving software issues in a structured, methodical way.
  • Contribute to system development by assisting with improvements to the firm's practice management system.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to achieve timely resolutions and elevate issues when necessary.
  • Engage with third‑party suppliers, learning vendor management and escalation processes.
  • Participate in IT projects, supporting delivery and learning project management fundamentals.
  • Experience upgrade processes, including occasional out‑of‑hours work for system improvements.
  • Maintain professional standards by adhering to firm policies and compliance frameworks.
  • Develop organizational skills by keeping IT areas tidy and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications
  • Expand knowledge of IT governance, including risk, quality, and security procedures.
  • Industry‑recognized IT qualification (preferred) and experience in IT support, ideally within a legal environment.
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve issues methodically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
