Job Description:

A brand new role has arisen with a growing law firm.

This is an ideal role for an individual with experience in providing 1st and 2nd line support within a law firm or professional services environment, and proven experience working alongside an outsource provider.

The role involves managing the relationship with the outsourced provider, providing initial support and troubleshooting for internal clients, and handling IT inductions and training for new and existing staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the firm’s cyber risks awareness programme
• Budget management
• Licence management
• Cyber insurance
• Mobile device management
• Developing and maintaining policies and procedures
• Hardware management
• Contracts register oversight
• Software upgrades and maintenance with MSP
• Software development with SaaS providers
• Project management, including office moves
• Providing 1st/2nd line support
• Managing local network and infrastructure
• Risk and compliance management
• Business continuity and incident response

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a professional services environment
• Experience working with an outsourced IT Managed Service provider
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build professional relationships internally and externally
• Ability to prioritize and escalate tasks effectively
• Experience negotiating contracts with third-party suppliers
