Job Overview

This global Professional Services firm is launching a £200m Front Office venture aimed at generating significant revenue from SME clients. With upcoming high-profile buy-to-sell Software projects, the firm seeks a charismatic IT Procurement expert to lead this newly formed team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop the future operating model and establish Procurement’s delivery capabilities within the Front Office
• Build credibility among senior stakeholders, serve as an ambassador for the IT function, and expand Procurement’s influence and project pipeline to justify additional headcount for the Software Procurement team
• Manage the end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement process for high-value multi-million-pound software projects, from requirements gathering to contract management
• Establish strategic relationships with niche IT Software & Cloud vendors to create mutually beneficial outcomes

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and Category Management with demonstrable commercial achievements such as cost savings, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, and vendor alliances
• Strong understanding of the IT Software supply market (essential), with procurement knowledge in Functional/Digital Applications (preferred but not essential)
• Qualifications such as Degree, MCIPS, ITIL, Prince 2 are preferred but not mandatory
