About the role
We’re looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead and develop our internal IT function at BCIS.

It’s a varied role that combines operational IT support with leadership and project delivery. You’ll still be comfortable getting hands‑on with 1st and 2nd line support when needed, but you’ll also lead larger initiatives including software rollouts, hardware refreshes, cyber security testing and remediation, and improvements to the processes that keep our technology estate secure and compliant.
As our infrastructure evolves, you’ll also have the opportunity to build your own cloud and DevOps knowledge and help develop these capabilities within the IT team.

BCIS is a trusted provider of construction cost data and insight, helping organisations across the UK make informed decisions using reliable, independent information. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team at an exciting point in the development of our technology, with the opportunity to take real ownership of our internal IT function, influence how we work and help shape our move towards a more cloud‑first environment. We offer hybrid working alongside a flexible benefits package and a culture that supports professional development and continuous improvement.
