Entech Technical Solutions is seeking an IT Manager to join a Defence sector team with offices in London and Cheltenham. You will own the strategy, delivery and ongoing management of critical business applications and the EMEA IT team supporting them.

You will define a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, oversee full lifecycle from selection to retirement, ensure performance and reliability, and build a high-performing team while embedding governance, security and collaboration with

Qualificações

• Senior experience in applications management or IT leadership.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise ecosystems (ERP, PLM, BI), SaaS platforms, and integration technologies.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or ServiceNow is desirable.

Responsabilidades

Security Clearance

We are looking for an IT Manager to join the new team of a Defence company with offices in London and Cheltenham. This is a senior IT lead role, responsible for the strategy, delivery and management of the company's business-critical applications and the EMEA IT team that supports them.

Responsibilities:

• Define and deliver a strategic roadmap for enterprise applications, aligned with business priorities and long-term technology objectives.
• Manage the full application lifecycle, including system selection, implementation, upgrades, optimisation and retirement.
• Ensure the reliability, availability and performance of critical business systems, while driving best-practice support and incident management.
• Build, lead and develop a high-performing team of application specialists, encouraging collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Work closely with business units, IT teams and external vendors to deliver effective, value-driven technology solutions.
• Ensure appropriate governance, security and compliance standards are embedded across all enterprise applications.

Requirements:

• Experience in senior applications management or senior IT roles.
• Strong knowledge across enterprise ecosystems, ERP, PLM, BI, SaaS platforms, integration technologies, Atlassian tools, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or ServiceNow.
• Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, you must be a UK national for this clearance type.
