Job summary

Leading defence and advanced technology organisation is recruiting an Enterprise Applications Manager (EMEA) to head a new Business Systems team across EMEA. Hybrid role based in Cheltenham or London, with up to 25% travel. You will own the enterprise applications lifecycle, partner with stakeholders, and shape technology direction.

Excellent leadership is required to build and manage a high-performing team and drive security, governance, and compliance across critical systems.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in senior applications management or IT leadership.
• Strong technical knowledge across enterprise ecosystems (ERP/PLM/BI/SaaS/integration tools).

Responsibilities

• Define and own the enterprise applications roadmap from day one.
• Lead and develop a team of application specialists.
• Oversee end-to-end application lifecycle: selection, implementation, upgrades, optimisation, retirement.
• Ensure reliability, availability and performance of critical business systems.
• Engage with business units, IT service lines, and external vendors to deliver value-driven solutions.
• Embed governance, security and compliance across enterprise applications.
