About the Role

The role of Infrastructure Specialist – Endpoint & Operations is to provide technical capability and expertise across 7C Network’s global technology environment, with a particular focus on endpoint management, modern workplace technologies, infrastructure operations, and support for our North American and UK studios. You will join a high-performance, tight-knit but geographically distributed Infrastructure team, reporting to a senior leader of Infrastructure & Security based in Melbourne. This role will help strengthen operational coverage outside Australian business hours, reduce key-person dependencies, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our infrastructure, security, automation and AI-assisted operational capabilities.

The successful candidate will be a hands‑on technical specialist with strong endpoint management experience, including Windows and Mac platforms, combined with a broad understanding of cloud, identity, networking and security technologies. The role requires a proactive problem solver who is comfortable operating independently, balancing operational support, technical decision‑making and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint and Modern Workplace:

  • Administer, support and continuously improve endpoint management platforms and processes across Windows and Mac environments.
  • Manage endpoint lifecycle activities, including provisioning, compliance, security, software deployment, patching and automation, with a focus on improving device reliability, user experience and policy‑driven control.
  • Support and improve Mac management capability and associated operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain endpoint standards, policies, documentation and operational procedures.

Infrastructure Operations:

  • Act as an escalation point for complex infrastructure, endpoint and modern workplace issues.
  • Support and administer cloud and on‑premises infrastructure platforms.
  • Contribute to the management of identity, access management, authentication and security controls.
  • Participate in operational support, incident response and problem management activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, knowledge articles and operational runbooks.
  • Identify technology landscape risks and propose pragmatic solutions.

Automation and Future Capability:

  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve service delivery, supporting more proactive and intelligence‑led infrastructure operations.
  • Contribute to automated capabilities and tooling improvements, including troubleshooting, intelligent alert and security triage, remediation workflows, cloud management visibility, self‑service tooling and related infrastructure management improvements.
  • Participate in technology uplift initiatives across endpoint, cloud, networking and security domains.

Project Delivery:

  • Participate in the design, implementation and support of infrastructure projects.
  • Provide technical input into solution design, vendor selection and implementation planning.
  • Assist with global initiatives involving cloud platforms, endpoint management, security, collaboration technologies and studio infrastructure.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, regional IT teams and external vendors to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Balance planned project work with BAU support, operational priorities and urgent business requirements.
About You

You’re a hands‑on, solutions‑focused individual with strong technical curiosity and a genuine desire to keep learning. You enjoy tackling challenges, exploring new technologies and finding practical ways to improve how things work. Comfortable working across different disciplines, you’re adaptable, resourceful and always willing to develop new skills. You thrive in a collaborative, globally connected environment but are equally confident working independently and taking ownership of your responsibilities. With strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset, you’re comfortable supporting colleagues and stakeholders across multiple locations and time zones. You bring a calm, structured approach to troubleshooting and problem‑solving, with the ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions that balance speed, quality, risk and business impact. Above all, you’re positive, proactive and open to challenging existing ways of working to achieve better outcomes. You understand the importance of flexibility in a global business and are willing to provide occasional after‑hours support for planned changes, projects or operational needs when required.

Key Requirements:
  • 5–10 years’ experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration, Endpoint Engineering, Modern Workplace Engineering or similar roles.
  • Strong experience managing Windows and Mac endpoint environments.
  • Experience with endpoint security, vulnerability management and compliance controls.

  • Experience with automation platforms, workflow orchestration, or API‑based integrations operations.
  • Security technologies including identity and access management, data loss prevention, email security and web security.
  • Scripting and automation experience, such as PowerShell, Python or similar.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, service desk escalation processes and operational reporting.
  • Experience with architecture, engineering, construction or professional services environments.
  • Relevant certifications across Microsoft, Azure, AWS, Jamf, Cisco/Meraki, ITIL or security disciplines.
