Job Description
This role requires an Infrastructure Project Manager to effectively manage and develop ICT network and infrastructure services in conjunction with the Infrastructure Manager, supporting strategic and operational business requirements. The role involves ensuring that the company's ICT requirements are met efficiently and that all ICT systems are fully functional at all times.
Responsibilities
- Support the security of the company's network and ICT resources
- Deliver robust, efficient, and professional operational IT services to key stakeholders
- Maintain documentation of systems, maps, procedures, user, and technical information
- Support network equipment and services, virtual servers, network storage devices, and network communications equipment
- Provide day-to-day support for LANs, WANs, internet, security, and wireless implementations
- Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods and procedures
- Monitor business-critical processes and systems
- Install, configure, and support new and existing servers and network infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with developments in relevant areas and meet changing job needs
- Encourage and support the development of team members and the organization
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment contracts
- Undertake other duties as required, consistent with the job grade, to further organizational objectives
- Deputise for the Infrastructure Manager
Qualifications & Skills
- Specialist in Windows server infrastructure support, including on-premises and cloud platforms
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft security best practices, migration, VMware VM management
- Experience managing infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of security, networking, server, software support, and management
- Understanding of managing Microsoft Active Directory networks, Exchange Hybrid, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Cloud Telephony, Cyber Security, and Cloud Backup
- Knowledge of VMware high-availability infrastructure and SANs
- Understanding of Microsoft Azure services including Azure AD, SSO, Multi-Factor Authentication
- Cyber security best practices, documentation, user education, auditing
- Change management, problem and incident management skills
