A technology firm is looking for an IT Engineer to manage Rubrik Backup and Hybrid Cloud Protection in Central London. This 3-month hybrid role requires expertise in configuring Rubrik clusters, ensuring thorough backup for physical servers and Azure workloads. Candidates should possess Rubrik and Microsoft certifications, strong troubleshooting skills, and be adept at working in hybrid environments. The position provides an opportunity to work closely with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.

Qualifications

• Experience protecting Azure and Office 365 workloads through Rubrik.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and governance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, optimisation, and administration of Rubrik clusters across hybrid environments.
• Ensure comprehensive backup coverage for physical servers, virtualised platforms, Azure workloads, and Office 365 tenants.
• Conduct regular resilience reviews and steer corrective actions.
• Own backup policies, SLAs, retention schedules, immutability controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Perform routine health checks, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Respond to backup and restore incidents and complete root cause analysis.
• Oversee patching, upgrades, and feature enablement.
• Maintain documentation of backup architectures and DR processes.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
• Support audits, projects, and initiatives requiring backup expertise.
