A technology firm is looking for an IT Engineer to manage Rubrik Backup and Hybrid Cloud Protection in Central London. This 3-month hybrid role requires expertise in configuring Rubrik clusters, ensuring thorough backup for physical servers and Azure workloads. Qualifications

• Experience protecting Azure and Office 365 workloads through Rubrik.
• Strong troubleshooting ability and governance understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead the configuration, optimisation, and administration of Rubrik clusters across hybrid environments.
• Ensure comprehensive backup coverage for physical servers, virtualised platforms, Azure workloads, and Office 365 tenants.
• Conduct regular resilience reviews and steer corrective actions.
• Own backup policies, SLAs, retention schedules, immutability controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Perform routine health checks, troubleshooting, and remediation.
• Respond to backup and restore incidents and complete root cause analysis.
• Oversee patching, upgrades, and feature enablement.
• Maintain documentation of backup architectures and DR processes.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Infrastructure, and Cyber Security teams.
• Support audits, projects, and initiatives requiring backup expertise.
