Role: ICT Business Partner - Public Sector

Location: Hybrid - WFH plus travel to Thames Valley counties 2 days per week.

Salary: £52,250 + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits, including excellent Pension, and a wide range of travel and shopping discounts

Key Skills: Business Relationship Manager / Service Delivery Manager experience, bridging the gap between Business Units and ICT. Technology road mapping, driving User Experience, writing Business Cases, Information Governance and Assurance, clean and current UK driving license, and eligibility for Security Clearance.

The Role (summary):

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across various Business Units, meeting with Senior Management to establish and document IT requirements, business cases, project funding, cost modelling, and collaborating with technical architects to understand the impact on the technology roadmap. Evaluate outcomes and User Experience reporting.
  • Identify gaps / business needs and document them thoroughly.
  • Build ICT technology roadmap awareness across the organisation.
  • Check information Governance, Assurance, and Accessibility.
  • Understand project costs and lifecycle costs.
  • Liaise with Technical Architects to review High Level Design.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • 3-4+ years in ICT Business Process Mapping / Business Partnering roles, ideally within a Public Sector organisation (e.g., Local Government, Central Government, Policing).
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship-building skills.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification preferred; BRMP desirable but not essential.
  • A strong focus on User Experience and understanding of the User Journey in projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective liaising across teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with ICT costs and delivering solutions based on improved services, cost-efficiency, and benefits realization.
  • Energy and enthusiasm to engage stakeholders and deliver tailored ICT solutions.
  • Clean and current UK driving license and willingness to travel to Oxfordshire and nearby counties up to 2-3 times per week if needed.
  • At least 5 years UK residency with no extended periods outside the UK to meet security vetting requirements.
