Responsibilities

• Build relationships across the business to identify technology opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Act as senior escalation point for IT issues beyond standard support channels.
• Support technology initiatives across the business, from small fixes to major cross-divisional projects.
• Ensure applications are delivered with governance and reporting aligned to group standards.
• Produce annual reporting on software licence usage and subscriptions.
• Act as business analyst on projects, ensuring alignment with architecture and security standards.
• Ensure application support is fit for purpose with clear handover and support arrangements.
• Own documentation, delivery oversight and periodic review of applications.

A leading, highly prestigious financial services organisation is seeking an IT Business Solutions Analyst to join its Wealth Management Business Applications function in London.

The role sits between the business and technology delivery, covering requirements definition, solution evaluation, and ongoing ownership of applications post-delivery. Suited to someone with strong stakeholder management skills and a track record of taking real accountability for outcomes.

What you will be doing:

• Build relationships across the business and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology
• Act as senior escalation point for IT issues beyond standard support channels
• Support technology initiatives across the business, from small fixes to major cross-divisional projects
• Ensure applications and solutions are delivered in line with group methodology, with proper governance and reporting
• Produce annual reporting on software licence usage, ensuring right-sized subscriptions
• Act as business analyst on selected projects, ensuring solutions meet business needs and align with architecture, security and governance standards
• Ensure application support is fit for purpose, with proper handover and clear support arrangements, whether in-house or third-party
• Own documentation, delivery oversight and periodic review of applications, new and existing
