Astrum Search Ltd. is working with a leading global FTSE listed organisation to appoint an IT Audit Manager into its evolving Group Internal Audit function.

Reporting to the Head of Group Audit, this is an opportunity to take ownership of technology assurance activity, influence the wider audit approach and help strengthen risk management across an international business. Qualifications

• Experience in IT audit, technology risk or technology assurance.
• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk frameworks, and audit methodologies.
• Professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based IT audit and assurance reviews from planning through reporting and remediation.
• Support development of the technology audit approach aligned with IIA standards and business priorities.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders to improve controls, governance and resilience.
• Assess emerging technology risks including AI, automation and digital transformation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance assurance coverage and provide actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based IT audit and assurance reviews from planning through to reporting and remediation
• Support the ongoing development of the technology audit approach, ensuring alignment with IIA standards and business priorities
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive improvements in controls, governance and operational resilience
• Assess emerging technology risks, including AI, automation and wider digital transformation
• Identify opportunities to enhance assurance coverage and deliver practical, value-adding recommendations

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in IT Audit, Technology Risk or Technology Assurance, ideally within an internal audit environment
• Strong understanding of IT controls, risk frameworks and internal audit methodologies
• Relevant professional qualifications such as CISA, CISM or CISSP
• Confident engaging with stakeholders and communicating complex technical risks clearly
• Experience in a growing or acquisitive business, with M&A exposure advantageous
• A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, international environment
